Baltimore Boy Choir Festival

Four students from the Gettysburg Children's Choir participated in the thirteenth annual Baltimore Boychoir Festival hosted by the Maryland State Boychoir in May, 2012. Joshua Larkin, St. Francis School; Maxwell Wolfe, Lincoln Elementary School; Arjun Guidroz and Michael Kiehl, Gettysburg Area Middle School joined other participants including The Newark Boys Chorus, Newark, New Jersey; The Georgia Boychoir, Atlanta, Georgia; The Boychoir of Ann Arbor, Michigan; and The Maryland State Boychoir , Baltimore, Maryland. Guest conductor was Dr. Paul Rardin, Temple University.

As a former choir member, I have been thinking of making a career out of it. First of all, it is not the most lucrative job in the world, in fact, it is one of the jobs that will have a harder thing to be successful at. I am not thinking of anything as idealistic as thinking that I will be the best just because I wanted to. It is better to try than to just think about the what ifs. I will try to be the best choir singer that I am.
