Jodé Lemmon has served on the board of the Gettysburg Children’s Choir since 2021. Jodé lives on a farm in East Berlin, PA where she grew up. She lives with her husband, Eric, and two daughters, Audrey and Ava. The girls have been in choir for several years and now are in each Choir and Chorale. Jodé has enjoyed volunteering with other organizations in York and Adams counties in the past. She has over 25 years experience in health benefits consulting and digital healthcare sales. She has a Masters from Carnegie Mellon University and a BA from York College of Pennsylvania. |
Brian Granger has been on the Gettysburg Children’s Choir Board for four years and his son Brody has been a member of the GCC for the last five years. Brian has been a public school educator since 1995, currently serving as Principal of Allen Middle School, in the West Shore School District. He has a BS in Psychology and Elementary Education from Thiel College, a Masters in School Administration from McDaniel College, and has earned his Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility from Shippensburg University.
Having participated in choral music groups from elementary school into adulthood, Brian is an advocate for the musical arts and music education. Through his experience as a GCC parent and board member, he believes the GCC provides a rigorous yet nurturing and inclusive choral educational experience that helps kids build confidence, develop their sense of self, and grow their musical interests and abilities. |
Amanda Hollabaugh is the Treasurer for the Gettysburg Children’s Choir. A graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Vocal Performance, Amanda has a deep love for music and is thrilled to be a part of this organization. As one of the family members that helps to manage and operate Hollabaugh Brothers, a successful local farm market in Biglerville PA, she has a strong business background. Since taking over the role of treasurer in 2019, Amanda handles the financial operations for the GCC. She has had two children involved in the organization and, currently, her son sings in the Chorale and is a guest pianist for Dr. Talbot. Amanda is also the music director at Trinity Lutheran Church in Arendtsville, PA. |
Alice began serving on the board of the Gettysburg Children’s Choir during the 2019-2020 season. She first worked with the choir as an intern in 2013, assisting with rehearsals and the choir’s summer camp. An advocate for arts education, Alice served as a school board member for the Gettysburg Area School District in 2019.
Alice is an elementary music teacher in the Mechanicsburg Area School District where she teaches fourth and fifth grade general and choral music. Alice received her BSME from Gettysburg College and her MM in music education from Michigan State University. |
Jodi Scheiterlein joined the board in 2023. She has a passion for the arts, having grown up participating in youth theater, concert band, marching band, Women's Glee Club, and Chamber Choir. In addition to the Children's Choir Board, Jodi serves as secretary for her local Parks & Recreation Commission, as well as President of the Parent Teacher Organization at Bermudian Springs Middle School. She has two children, one of whom participates in Children's Choir. Jodi has helped establish youth programs, both artistic and athletic, in Pennsylvania, Maryland and New York. She specializes Early Education Programming. By joining the Gettysburg Children's Choir Board, she hopes to help make music more accessible to children in Adam's County. |
Charles Strauss joined the board of the Gettysburg Children’s Choir in 2023. His daughter, Anna, now in the Chorale, has been singing with the Choir since 2017. Charles and his wife, Elizabeth, are professors in the History Department at Mount St. Mary’s University and live in Gettysburg with their four children. Charles is grateful to live in a place with a strong culture for music and the arts, and his children have been involved in a number of ensembles at St. Francis Xavier, Delone Catholic, and the Gettysburg Area School District. He is particularly enthusiastic about the Gettysburg Children’s Choir, which he believes is committed to high standards, and also to the idea that music has the capacity to contribute to the common good and build peace.
Charles is originally from Pittsburgh where he was a mediocre saxophonist in the Bethel Park High School Marching Band. He continued in the Marching Band at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts where he earned his BA. His masters in history is from the University of Cape Town in South Africa, and his PhD in history is from the University of Notre Dame. |
Jason began serving on the GCC board in 2024 and has a strong passion for music. Originally hailing from Delta, PA, he earned a bachelor’s degree in IT for business education from Shippensburg University, followed by an MBA from Eastern University. During his time at Ship, he met the love of his life while playing tuba for the SU marching band. Today, he continues to serve as “the voice of the band” and enjoys organizing alumni roadies.
Jason and his wife, Rachel, are proud parents of two daughters, Milla and AJ, who have both participated in the choir. Despite his professional commitments as a longstanding orthopedic business leader for Zimmer Biomet, Jason actively participates with the Bermudian Springs Elementary School PTO and is a familiar face around the school when not traveling for work. A tech enthusiast at heart, Jason loves embarking on fun adventures with his family, blending his passion for technology with his dedication to creating lasting memories. |
Adrienne Seitz was on the Gettysburg Children's Choir board for five years. She served as President for two years. As a choir parent for six years, she has seen the individual impact and the community benefit of this incredible organization firsthand.
She brings experience in fundraising and arts administration to the Board. Adrienne currently works in Development for Johns Hopkins University. |
